An Aussie based in Colorado since 2008, whose day job is a HR professional, and in my spare time, I'm passionate about creating memories with family and friends through cooking, outdoor adventures, loving on fur babies, and sharing content that enhances our lives.

It's more than just a cooking website!

Some History and Evolution

This site was created as a result of some sweet pestering by friends asking me to write a cookbook, after I left Australia. Creating a website seemed easier, but is cookbook in my future, perhaps! This site expanded from just a cooking website to include my other passions, which center around creating great memories and spaces, and curating experiences. My home is my sanctuary and it's important that my space works for me, brings me joy and comfort, which is why I want to help give that to others.

Cooking Content

I am passionate about sharing from-scratch recipes that make cooking feel accessible, joyful, and doable for everyone. My recipes lean on thoughtful, fresh ingredients that turn even the simplest dishes into something memorable. I also share cooking tips and handy kitchen products that save you time and set you up for cooking success. I am diligent about acknowledging the talents of others and if I sourced a recipe from another, although I tend to make a recipe my own. All images are mine or purchased from Shutterstock.

Pet Services

I am a shameless lover of all pets, and it brings me joy to provide reliable and reassuring care while you are away. Home Services

In 2025, I launched my Home Services business, including house sitting, organizing and decluttering, reimagining the look of a space, small project work, and now private chef services. I have an excellent green thumb and am known for designing outdoor spaces. Client testimonials and examples of my work coming soon!

Blog and Product Recommendations

I regularly blog about the things I love, including camping, travel, and other outdoor adventures. I am equally passionate about thoughtful gift giving and recommending products that I genuinely love and use in my own home. I do not earn commissions from my recommendations, and even if I did, I refuse to recommend products like many influencers do today that if you dig into the ratings, you learn they are not all they are cracked up to be!

Social Media Presence

I currently have a limited social media presence and do not receive commissions on products, nor allow advertising on my site at this time. Coming in 2026, I'll be building an Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest presence.
